Privacy Policy
Deep Time respects your privacy. This policy explains how information related to the app is handled. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the app.
1. Information we collect
We do not require an account and do not collect personal identifiers such as your name, phone number, or government ID.
To provide features, the app may store the following locally on your device:
- Preferences such as selected mode, theme, color, and music
- Custom durations for focus modes
- Deep Log entries (completion time, mode, atmosphere label, duration, etc.)
- UI state such as music bar collapse and dock side
This data stays on your device by default and is not uploaded to our servers.
2. What we do not do
- No advertising tracking and no third-party ad SDKs
- We do not sell user data
- No social login or social sharing network
- We do not share your usage data with third parties for analytics
3. System capabilities
- Audio playback: Used for ambient / white-noise audio; may continue in the background when a session is active or you choose to play.
- Live Activities / Dynamic Island: Used to show Deep Session progress in system UI. Presentation is managed by Apple system frameworks and is not remote tracking by us.
You can manage related permissions in iOS Settings at any time.
4. Storage and deletion
Preferences and Deep Log are stored locally on your device (for example via system local storage). Uninstalling the app typically deletes this local data. We cannot restore your local journal from a remote server.
5. Children’s privacy
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will help address it.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The revised date will be posted on this page. Continued use of the app means you understand the updated policy.
